Microcontroller Family Designed for Robust 5-V EMC Performance

The Flexis™ AC family of scalable microcontrollers from Freescale Semiconductor has been crafted especially to allow design engineers to manage the noise issues inherent in large appliance and industrial applications. The Flexis family features 8-bit devices (MC9S08AC128/96/60/48/32) and 32-bit V1 ColdFire® microcontrollers (MCF51AC256/128) crafted to provide exceptional EMC/EMI performance and an array of on-chip peripherals to help reduce component count, system complexity, and overall system cost. The devices’ excellent performance at 5 volts allows for the creation of electromagnetically quieter and more cost effective designs.
