MITEQ, a provider of SATCOM, RF and microwave components, has released the LNB series of low-noise block converters, which supply RF down conversion from 18-40 GHz to intermediate frequencies of 2-16 GHz.
Featuring a 4 dB noise figure and internal LO, the LNB series permits processing of very low level input signals and are available in either an 18-26 or 26-40 GHz model. The units are housed in a half rack case and can be powered either by 12/15 VDC or a Universal AC power supply. An external 10 MHz reference is required. An optional internal 10 MHz reference for even lower phase noise performance is also available from MITEQ.
