Ultra Electronics, 3eTI, a provider of military-grade secure network solutions for critical information systems and other applications, has released the Ultravision Spectrum Manager, a radio frequency spectrum monitoring tool.
“[The] spectrum manager provides a networked solution that monitors a broad segment of the spectrum (10MHz to 6GHz) to display both in-band and out-of-band emissions that would interfere with our customers’ communications within their area of operations,” Benga Erinle, president of 3eTI, said.
He added that in addition to spectrum monitoring, the spectrum manager is also capable of identifying the location of interference using data relayed back to a central monitoring display by sensors equipped with antenna arrays.
“Spectrum Manager will locate the position of the interference and provide an intelligent analysis to determine whether the interference is spurious, such as an energy surge or simple noise, or a targeted attack with destructive intent,” Erinle said.
