ART-Fi announces the launch of an accurate, instant SAR measurement system, which is the first system ideal for measuring SAR on small cells such as microcells, picocells and femtocells. It can also measure SAR on tablets and laptops. Previously, these measurements would take a few minutes; however, now measurements are instant.
The system features a “fixed, 100% vector probe-array that eliminates the “sweeping probe method,” resulting in highly accurate measurements and industry-leading confidence,” according to the company. This means the system includes no moving parts and offers accurate phase and amplitude measurements.
The system is suitable for near-field and far-field exposure and it complies with both IEC 62209-2 and IEC 62232 requirements.
