In order to extend its range of IEC high-temperature power inlets and outlets, Schurter introduces its new high temperature inlet and cord connectors series.
“The high-temperature appliance inlets and cord connectors are designed according to IEC for 16 A at 250 VAC, and according to UL / CSA for 20 A at 250 VAC,” according to the company.
These products are ideal for use in elevated temperature environments with high currents (datacom equipment), portable industrial equipment (heating systems) or situations where power is increased and size is decreased.
This series offers snap-in or screw on mounting, terminal options for soldering and quick-connect screw options, choice between straight or angled series design, and more. The connectors also have an operating temperature range of -25 to 155 degrees Celsius.
The high-temperature inlet and cord connectors are RoHS and CHINA-ROHS compliant and meet the requirements of IEC 60320, C22 & C21. The series also has approvals from ENEC, UL/ CSA and CCC.
