General Motors will stop the production of the Chevrolet Volt electric car for a month this fall. The Detroit-Hamtramck plant will suspend production from Sept. 17 to Oct. 15.
Reportedly, Volt sales haven’t matched the car manufacturer’s exceptions. However, Chevy says the suspension is not due to poor sales; rather, it is so GM can concentrate on retooling the new Chevy Impala.
