MTE Corporation has extended its Matrix AP harmonic filter line with the new 1600A, 2000A, and 2300A harmonic filters.
Operating at over 99 percent efficiency, MTE’s Matrix AP harmonic filters address demands for improved power quality. The filters include the company’s patented adaptive passive technology, allowing them quickly adapt their impedance in response to changing electrical load.
Compared to other passive filter designs that work for 100 percent loads, the Matrix AP maintains filtering performance over a wider load, including mitigating harmonic distortion at low loads. As with all Matrix AP models, the new high current filters are available in open panel and feature a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 50°C and UL and cUL certification.
