Schurter Inc., a distributor of EMC products and components, has announced the 5123 series filter for use with interference suppression in test and measurement, medical and industrial equipment. The 5123 series filter is an upgrade of the previous 5120 series filter.
According to a statement from the company, the new 5123 series filter is designed for nominal currents up to 15A and “integrates the EMC filter directly at the line input, providing an optimal effect on electromagnetic compatibility.” The company adds that the filter is equipped with a broad metal flange that assists with filtering and shielding effects. The 5123 series filter is designed for operating current levels up to 10A at 250 VAC according to IEC and 125/250 VAC according to UL and is available for snap-in, screw-in or studded assembly.
