EnOcean Inc., a manufacturer of energy-harvesting wireless sensor technology, has released a new line of energy-harvesting wireless modules on the 902 MHz band for the North American market. The new line of wireless modules includes a self-powered wireless switch module, a solar powered wireless sensor module and transceiver modules for controllers and gateways.
“The 902 MHz frequency band is ideally suited for energy harvesting wireless applications, blending long range, fast RF transmission and robust, energy efficient operation,” Jim O’Callaghan, President of EnOcean Inc., said.
According to the company, the new wireless modules “increase the effective radio frequency range, offer enhanced resistance to interference and simplify product development efforts due to shorter antenna lengths.”
