API Technologies has expanded its power filter family with the introduction of new two-line, two-stage, EMI/EMC power filters designed for use in ground-current-sensitive applications.
The filters offer a rated voltage of 250(50/60Hz) and an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. Other features include “withstanding voltage is 4000V AC or 1500V AC for one minute between line and ground and 1800V DC for one minute between line and line. Insulation resistance is 300Ω minimum at 500V DC between line and ground,” according to the company. The filters are also Semko approved and UL-tested.
The power filters are ideal for use in industrial equipment, medical devices and gaming applications that require very high noise attenuation. The products can also be used in test and measurement instrumentation.
