Teseq Inc., a developer of instrumentation and systems for EMC emission and immunity testing, has released the PMM DR-01 double-ridged horn antenna for radiated emissions and immunity applications.
The corrosion-resistant PMM DR-01 antenna measures approximately 2.2 in x 1.7 in x 5.4 in and features individual calibration and a nominal impedance range of 50 ohms.
According to Teseq, the PMM DR-01 is compatible with the company’s PMM 9180 high-performance digital EMC/EMI receiver due to its size and axially-located RF connector. When installed on a tripod or mast with said receiver and connected via a fiber optic cable, the PMM DR-01 reportedly “increases system sensitivity, accuracy and reduces overall error by eliminating sources of uncertainty and signal loss through scattering and attenuation of the coaxial cable.”
