Krytar, Inc., a provider of ultra-broadband microwave components and test equipment, has released two new multi-purpose stripline directional couplers for narrowband applications in electronic warfare, commercial wireless, SATCOM, radar, signal monitoring and measurement, antenna beam forming, and EMC testing.
The new model 120430 directional coupler covers the 4.0 to 12.4 GHz frequency band, while model 120730 covers the 7.0 to 12.4 GHz frequency band. Compact and lightweight, the couplers are ideal for use in space-restricted applications and come with industry-standard 2.4-mm SMA female connectors. Both couplers offer nominal coupling (with respect to output) of 30 dB ±1.0 dB, frequency sensitivity of ±0.30 dB, insertion loss (including coupled power) of less than 0.50 dB and directivity of 15 dB. Maximum VSWR (any port) is 1.35 and input power rating is 20 W average and 3 kW peak.
