Pasternack Enterprises, Inc. has introduced its new line of digitally programmable attenuators, which are available in 5, 8 or 10 bit. These attenuators are ideal for use in electronic warfare, radar applications, and military and space communication systems.
Features of the line of attenuators include fast and reliable switch speeds, high linearity, low frequencies, SMA connectors, power control connectors, high accuracy, performance up to 40 GHz, and low insertion loss ranging from 4 dB to 8 dB and P1dB power ranges from 10 to 20 dBm.
“These new variable attenuators meet MIL-STD-202F standards for shock, vibration, altitude, humidity and temperature and are constructed using a durable, but slim line housing, measuring only 0.5” thick,” according to the company.
“Our latest addition of PIN diode digital step attenuators provide our customers an off-the-shelf solution previously not available for these types of high reliability products where long lead times can exceed 8-12 weeks. We are continually expanding our active RF component offering to provide our customers a true one-stop-shop for all their RF requirements,” Michael Rachlin, director of product management at Pasternack, said.
