ACS has just announced its new regulatory compliance laboratory in Raleigh, NC. This announcement was also made during the IEEE 2014 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility. This new lab will focus primarilty on two areas of testing – EMC compliance testing and wireless certifications. This lab will utilize 3 meter semi-anechoic chamber and a covered 10 meter OATS during testing. These devices are both registered with the FCC, IC and VCCI.
“With world-class labs in Atlanta, as well as Melbourne and Boca Raton, Florida, ACS is opening the Raleigh location in response to growing demand from customers in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area including High Theft Solutions, Gilbarco and Sensus,” according to the company.
“As a global leader in wirelessly connected utility meters, Sensus is continually introducing innovative new technology. We have worked with ACS for years and found them to be an invaluable partner in our product testing and certification efforts. Their project turn time and overall customer service is second to none,” Al Servais, regulatory compliance team lead at Sensus, said.
