The Space Data Association, comprised of the world’s major satellite communications companies, announced the launch of a new geolocation support service to help identify the geographical origin of transmissions to a satellite.
The new service will allow members to share resources and expertise to locate sources of interference.
Interference continues to be a problem for satellite operators and the ability to geolocate these sources of interference allows a more timely resolution.
