ESD Protection Diode for RF Antennas
The ESD0P2RF-02LS from Infineon Technologies is 0.62 mm x 0.32 mm with a height of 0.31 mm. It can be easily integrated into complete modules and front-end systems. Crafted to protect electronic consumer and communications devices from electrostatic discharge, it can reliably absorb discharges up to 20 kV, a figure that significantly exceeds the industry standard IEC 61000-4-4 … [Read more...]
Standard on Limitation of Voltage Fluctuations and Flicker in Low-Voltage Power Supplies
"IEC/TS 61000-3-5:2009 deals with emission of disturbances due to voltage fluctuations and flicker. The recommendations in this technical specification are applicable to electrical and electronic equipment that has a rated input current exceeding 75 A per phase and is intended to be connected to a public low-voltage a.c. distribution system. Recommendations that specify … [Read more...]
Surface Mount GDT Surge Protectors for Broadband Applications
The new Bourns® 2054 series targets broadband applications. These three-electrode, surface mount GDT (gas discharge tube) surge protectors feature low capacitance and low insertion and return loss, making them a suitable choice for such applications. These devices are available in voltages from 230 V to 470 V. They prevent surge damage by providing a short-to-ground circuit … [Read more...]
