A new wideband amplifier has been released by M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (MACOM), a supplier of high performance RF, microwave and millimeter wave products.
The MAAM-011109 is suited for any application that requires 50 Ω gain performance from 10 MHz to 40 GHz, including IMS, point-to-point, test and measurement, aerospace, defense and electronic warfare applications, and is useful for applications where the incoming signal varies over a broad bandwidth, according to MACOM. Packaged in a 5mm x 5mm laminate package, the new ultra-broadband amplifier features a gain of 12 dB, isolation of 22 dB, bias current of 170 mA, input return loss of 13 dB and output return loss of 9 dB.
