Two prominent trade associations in the electronics sector have announced their merger. The Boards of Directors of AeA (formerly the American Electronics Association) and the Information Technology Association of American (ITAA) have approved the merger of the two organizations. The new association created by the merger will be known as the Technology Association of America, an organization that will represent approximately 2000 member companies. It will advocate on technology issues in state capitals across the United States and will bring its message to Washington, DC through a united federal lobbying effort.
