During a two-day tour at its R&D facilities, Toyota Motor Corp. showcased, among other quality and safety assurances, its electromagnetic compatibility, which seeks to provide safety and comfort to the mobile communities facilities. Toyota’s stepped-up quality and safety assurance system has been rolled out in an effort to avoid a repeat of the massive recalls it implemented in 2009 and 2010. This was the result of the creation of the first top-level Special Committee for Global Quality on March 30, where it was decided to enhance the company’s overall quality and safety standards starting from the product development phase, R&D, human resources and incorporating the customers’ point of view.Learn more from the Manilla Bulletin.
