The new FN 9244 filters from Schaffner have expanded that company’s existing IEC filter inlet range. They are available in a variety of options and can be mounted in various ways. The line includes three attenuation classes: standard performance, high performance, and very high performance. All the new filters have been designed for a continuous operating voltage of 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz, as well as for rated currents of 1 to 10 A (ENEC, CQC) and 1 to 15 A (UL CSA). In addition to the standard version, a special safety version and a medical version are also available. All the devices meet the requirements of IEC/EN 60601-1. Various mechanical mounting and hot inlet (IEC inlet type C16) versions are available as well.
