A new CRZ device from Vishay Intertechnology is the latest edition to the 150 CRZ series of surface mount aluminum capacitors. The 150 CRZ devices are now available in five case sizes, ranging from 8 mm x 8 mm x 10 mm to the larger 12.5 mm x 12.5 mm x 16 mm. The capacitors offer impedance as low as 60 mΩ at 100 kHz, a high rated ripple current of 1007 mA at +150 degrees C. and a capacitance range of 33 µF to 2200 µF over a voltage range of 6.3 V to 63 V. These polarized aluminum capacitors have a non-solid, self-healing electrolyte and are well suited to filtering, smoothing, buffering, and voltage-decoupling applications in automotive and industrial applications. These RoHS-compliant devices are charge and discharge proof so there are no peak current limitations. They operate over an ambient temperature range of -55 to +150 degrees C.
