Würth Electronics has recently announced a line of multilayer metal-alloy inductors designed for 1-3 MHz on-board switch mode DC-DC power supplies. The packages are magnetically-shielded so EMI is reduced.
Major specifications include: compact multilayer type; suitable for applications with high currents up to 3.5A; very high DC-bias current up to 4A; smallest RDC-Values starting at 15 mΩ; magnetically shielded construction: no crosstalk; operating temperature: –40 °C to +125 °C; and available in two sizes and two different types (low profile, standard).
