TRUMPower launched the TMP65 series of low cost medical grade AC/DC desktop power adapters, which meet the 4th edition IEC/EN 60601-1-2 EMC standards. It will also withstand ESD of 8kV contact and 15kV air.
The TMP65 Class I units come with an IEC 320/C6 AC inlet that has a ground pin. Class II units, furnished with an IEC 320/C8 AC inlet without a ground pin, are double insulated to provide proper safety protection where the availability and integrity of an earth cannot be guaranteed. Both Class I and Class II units come with a 2.5 x 5.5 x 11 mm right angle barrel plug as the standard output connector. The series offers standard single output voltages of 12V, 15V, 18V, 19V, 20V or 24V with continuous output power of up to 65 watts; non-standard output voltages are available upon request.
