On Friday, February 19, 2016, ACS in Buford, Georgia turned fifteen years old.
As part of the anniversary celebration, ACS gifted Big Green Egg packages to six of their key employees who have been with them for 10 years or more. The esteemed recipients were Doug Massey, Director of Product Safety, 14 years; Steve O’Steen, Director of EMC, 10 years; Ray Verar, EMC Lab Supervisor, 10 years; Art Sumner, EMC Technician, 12 years; Forrest Duncan, Operations Manager, Commercial EMC, 10 years; and Kirby Munroe, Director of Wireless, 11 years.
ACS said, “These men, and the rest of ACS’ dedicated staff, have been instrumental in shaping ACS into the premier, compliance test lab that they are today. In 2001, ACS decided to open their doors and start their operation: an EMC test lab out of Buford, GA” and since then ACS has expanded their services include EMC Testing, Wireless Certification, Product Safety Approvals, Quality and Performance Evaluations, Energy Efficiency Testing, Environmental Testing, Military and Defense Testing, and Aerospace Qualifications.
