Nolato Silkonteknik announced their new Compashield® EE gaskets that provides both excellent EMI shielding performance and environmental sealing function in flange-and-groove mounting applications, and for that reason they have attracted lots of interest from customers who are concerned about saving space.
Their extrusion process involves gaskets of electrically-conductive silicon rubber being string-injected into the shape and profiles required by customers.
The cross-section can be rectangular, solid or hollow in various shapes. Nolato extruded gaskets are mainly based on Ni/C, Ag/Al or Ag/Cu material, which contain good electrical conductivity combined with good mechanical properties.
