Langer EMV has announced a new broadband preamplifier, model PA 306, designed to boost the signal from near field probes.
The frequency range is 100 kHz to 6 GHz with gain of 30 dB and noise figure of 3 dB, typical.
The PA 306 amplifies weak signals from near-field probes or antennas. The preamplifier features a low noise figure performance in combination with a high dynamic range and wide frequency range.
The PA 306 is connected to the 50 Ω input of a spectrum analyzer or oscilloscope. Power is supplied to the PA 306 is via the plug-in power supply unit. A near-field probe is connected to the input of the preamplifier via the corresponding cable.
