According to a spokeswoman from Nats, a company that provides air traffic control services in the UK, Edinburgh Airport had a technical problem with interference on some radio frequencies that only affected part of Scottish airspace. However, flights from some Scottish airports were delayed as a result.
Three flights from Glasgow Airport were cancelled, with passengers experiencing delays throughout the day, according to the Stornoway Gazette.
