CTS Corporations recently presented the UPB550A Bandpass Filter, which is the newest surface-mount RF Bandpass Filter for use in LTE-U (unlicensed) and LTE-AA (licensed assisted access).
According to the company, it has a 0.7dB typical and <1.0dB worst case insertion loss, while providing >= 50dB rejection across all the major FDD bands. In addition, the UPB550A Bandpass Filter is also rated for 2W average and 20W peak input power.
The UPB550A Bandpass Filter “supports all of the major TDD bands including bands 40, 41, 42, 43 in a compact footprint of 10.2mm long ceramic monoblock,” the company said.
