Advanced Programs Inc. (API) introduces a new Multi-Level Security Platform (MLSP). The MLSP allows the user to access up to four separate security domains in one desktop platform and it consists of four separate CPUs. The MLSP is efficient, convenient, secure and unique because it offers users multiple levels of security. It also eliminates air gap requirements and ensures there is no cross communication between domains, according to the company.
“Each of the four independent systems features the latest in Intel Processors. With just the push of a button, the user can access a completely separate domain instantly. With a reduced energy consumption of up to 60% over standard multi-PC environments, the MLSP provides the necessary energy and cost savings without sacrificing the needed security for a multi-domain environment,” according to the company.
“The current solution to access multiple domains on a single desktop is multiple workstations under or on the desktop. The API Multi-Level Security Platform configuration significantly reduces the required footprint to a single enclosure while also reducing power required to access up to four domains on a single desktop. The MLSP can be configured for two, three or four domains providing versatility to the end user. The MLSP is a more efficient, cost saving solution compared to configurations currently in use,” Robert Bowman, API vice president, added.
