Tech-Etch, Inc. announces its new ProtoShield Sheets, which can be formed into board level shield prototypes in nearly minutes.
The sheets are available in two different sizes; the standard version has .25″ squares and the metric version has 5mm squares. Both versions are made of nickel silver material and are resistant to corrosion. Both versions are also solderable and can be directed soldered to shield clips or boards without the need for finishing or plating.
“Since ProtoShield sheets are depth-etched with a checkerboard pattern for folding, they can be easily formed into many diverse configurations. In the product development stage, fully functional shields can be created in minutes with just a pair of scissors and a straight edge for folding – saving both time and money,” according to the company.
