Pasternack introduces a new line of 22 solid state high power amplifiers that cover UHF, VHF, L, S and C Frequency Bands. These amplifiers can produce more than 10 watts of power in frequencies from 150 kHz to 7500 MHz.
“All of the high power amplifiers in this product family have single voltage supplies which are internally regulated and the circuits are enclosed in environmentally sealed metal packages,” according to Pasternack. All of these amplifiers can withstand extreme environmental conditions such as altitude, humidity and shock and vibration due to their rugged packages. Each amplifier is also equipped with stainless steel SMA female connectors.
Some of the amplifiers offer different capabilities.
“Solid state 50 ohm hybrid MIC designs use GaN, GaAs or LDMOS transistor technology that offers high dynamic range and allows gain levels ranging from 40 to 60 dB. The typical gain variation of these amplifiers is ±1.5 dB. Some amplifier models have output P1dB levels ranging from +10 to +50 watts, while some devices have output saturated power levels (Psat) ranging from +40 to +50 dBm,” according to the company.
These high power amplifiers are ideal for use in data links, electronic warfare, instrumentation, medical devices, military communications, radar, SATCOM and telecommunications applications.
