Astrodyne Corporation now offers a high power density COTS AC/DC converter in its Super MegaVerter series. The sMV500 series is ideal for use in thermally challenging applications and harsh aerospace and military COTS.
This converter offers 500 W of power, high power density, an input range of 85 to 265 VAC, a frequency range of 47 to 440 Hz, an operating temperature range of -40 to +100 degrees Celsius, low noise output and more. The sMV500 series also offers over current, over temperature, over voltage and short circuit protection.
“The sMV500 family of products offer an all-in-one 500 W, AC/DC solution with efficiencies in excess of 90%, active PFC and supports AC input frequencies of 47 to 440 Hz in a full brick form factor (4.6”x2.4”x0.5”).
