API Technologies has announced its filtered circular connectors will now be available in the European market; its products will now be designed and manufactured in the UK. The company’s connectors offer high performance, shortened lead time, lower cost, and can perform in temperatures ranging from -55 to 125 degrees Celsius. They are “ideal for use in commercial and military avionics, missile systems, communications systems as well as navigation and radar systems,” according to the company.
“Built to meet stringent MIL specifications and a broad spectrum of environment requirements, API’s filtered circular connectors are available in power, signal, and coax line combinations. The products also feature custom shells to suit customer specifications, with multiple terminations and removable crimp contacts also available upon request,” according to the company.
Other features of these connectors include a voltage rating up to 500 VDC, dielectric withstanding voltage up to 1,500 VDC, Capacitance tolerance of ±10%, ±20% and +100%, Capacitance up to 1 µF, and more.
