Rohde & Schwarz introduces its new liquid-cooled amplifiers to its R&S BBL200 Amplifier family. These amplifiers offer up to 10kW of power in a frequency range from 9 kHz to 225 MHz, according to the company.
These new amplifiers are beneficial because of its liquid cooling, which allows higher power and less noise during use. Most of the waste heat expelled from the amplifiers can be dissipated with a heat exchanger. This allows for minimal air conditioning and a decrease in operation costs. These amplifiers are also more compact than previous models.
The amplifier is also extremely efficient because it can be operated using the display buttons on the device as well as over a web browsers or with a remote control.
“The high output power of the R&S BBL200 amplifier family makes these models ideal for EMS tests where high field strengths are required. They are particularly suitable for EMC tests in the automotive, aerospace and defense sectors in line with standards such as MIL STD 461F, DO 160F, ISO 11451, ISO 11452,” the company said.
