New ChipScan-ESA software with numerous features has been developed by Langer EMV-Technik GmbH. This software is intended measure curves of spectrum analyzers more easily, while quickly recording data.
New features of this software are believed to reduce time and money spent on measuring curves, according to the company. These available features allow users to create user-defined correction curves, add and subtract as well as smooth and trim measurement curves, calculate maximum or minimum curves, and compare numerous measurements simultaneously. Users can also assign different curves different colors to easier visualize and record data.
There is also a LiveTrace feature built into the software. This feature allows “a continuous display of the spectrum analyzer’s measurement in the relevant window. During the live transmission, a random number of measurement curves that have been recorded beforehand can be shown for comparison. The developer can use this feature to check and further optimize the effect of an EMC countermeasure directly during its implementation.”
