Sierra-Olympic Technologies, Inc. has just announced its new Vinden CZ 640 – the “second continuous-zoom, thermal, chassis camera in the new Vinden CZ series. It is specially designed for OEMs and integrators for security and surveillance applications.”
“The high-performing thermal camera delivers H.264/MJPEG IP-video for Ethernet connectivity and simultaneous Camera Link digital and analog NTSC/PAL video.”
Beneficial features of the new camera include: digital signal processing, a continuous zoom, LWIR thermal imaging, 640 x 480 pixel resolution at 30 Hz, advanced vision processor, noise-reduction functions, and a 9Hz model for international buyers. The camera is high quality, light-weight and inexpensive to purchase.
The most important feature of the Vinden CZ 640 is its continuous zoom. “The Vinden CZ 640 has a 35 -105 mm continuous-zoom parfocal lens with a 3x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, and horizontal field of view (HFOV) from 17.1 degrees to 1.5 degrees,” the company said.
