On Wednesday, Sept. 10, Ken Wyatt visited the Interference Technology office to give an EMC Basics presentation.
Ken Wyatt, in conjunction with Rohde & Schwarz, will present a webinar on Troubleshooting Today’s EMI Problems Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. EST as part of EMC Live. EMC LIVE is a brand new, online three day event hosted by Interference Technology. Featuring practical information and topics, this event will include roundtables, webinars and videos on everything EMC-related, and there’s no cost to attend.
Attend this webinar and learn about troubleshooting EMI issues. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues often surface at the last moment in the design cycle, potentially delaying product introductions. Very often, simple pre-compliance measurements and techniques can identify issues early when the cost of implementation is substantially lower and design improvements may be made with less impact on schedules. This seminar covers EMC measurements and troubleshooting techniques at different stages of the design cycle. Practical tools and techniques that can be used for pre-compliance measurements as well as troubleshooting EMC problems in a more formal setting. We will include several probing and analysis techniques that will identify EMC issues quickly.
Wyatt, a senior EMC engineer at Wyatt Technical Services LLC, holds degrees in biology and electronic engineering and has worked as a senior EMC engineer for Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies for 21 years. He has also worked as a product development engineer for 10 years at various aerospace firms, on projects ranging from DC-DC power converters to RF and microwaves systems for shipboard and space systems.
A prolific author and presenter, Wyatt has written on or presented many topics, including RF amplifier design, RF network analysis software, EMC design of products and EMC troubleshooting techniques. He has been published in a variety of magazines, including Interference Technology.
