ACS, Inc. a provider of regulatory compliance and product development testing services, announced today its new test lab in Raleigh, NC. The announcement was made during the IEEE 2014 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility.
With labs in Atlanta, as well as Melbourne and Boca Raton, Florida, ACS is opening the Raleigh location in response to growing demand from customers in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) area including High Theft Solutions, Gilbarco and Sensus.
“As a global leader in wirelessly connected utility meters, Sensus is continually introducing innovative new technology. We have worked with ACS for years and found them to be an invaluable partner in our product testing and certification efforts. Their project turn time and overall customer service is second to none.” Al Servais, regulatory compliance team lead at Sensus, said.
The Raleigh location will continue the company’s dedication to exemplary customer service. Initially, the capabilities of the new Raleigh lab will focus on two primary areas of testing:

- Wireless Certifications – Radio approvals for worldwide markets. In cooperation with ACS TCB and ACS Global Access, this is a full service Wireless Certification offering.
The Raleigh test lab will employ state-of-the art equipment including a 3 meter semi-anechoic chamber, and a covered 10 meter Open Area Test Site (OATS), both registered and accredited with the FCC, IC, and VCCI.
