Liquid-Cooled High-Power Broadband Amplifier for EMS Testing

Rohde & Schwarz has released new liquid-cooled high-power broadband amplifiers ideal for EMS tests where high field strengths are required.

Offering up to 10 kW of power in a frequency range from 9 kHz to 225 MHz, the new R&S BBL200 amplifier family is particularly suited for testing in the automotive, aerospace and defense sectors in line with standards such as MIL STD 461F, DO 160F, ISO 11451, ISO 11452. High 1 dB compression power and outstanding VSWR immunity ensure sufficient amplifier performance for typical EMC test application requirements, while effective protective mechanisms provide maximum robustness and failsafe performance.

The amplifier can be operated using the display and buttons directly on the instrument, automatically via remote control interface or over a web browser.
