Electronic component manufacturer TDK Corporation has released the new ACT1210 series of common-mode chokes for both CAN and FlexRay bus systems.
With compact dimensions of just 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm x 2.4 mm and a footprint approximately 45 percent smaller than that of existing components, the new ACT1210 series of common-mode chokes are the world’s smallest, the company said. The ACT1210 series is rated for a wide operating temperature range from -55 °C to +150 °C, making it suitable for use under severe conditions such as those encountered in the engine compartment of a vehicle.
