The International Electrotechnical Commission has issued IEC 62482 Ed. 1.0 (2008-02) entitled “Electrical installations in ships – Testing method of routing distance.”This Technical Report defines a test method to determine minimum routing distances in order to avoid crosstalk of fast transients (bursts). The test results may be applied to cable installations according to IEC 60092-352.
