Electronics supplier Saelig Company, Inc. has released the A10150 wideband signal amplifier, an ultra-small footprint, wideband, DC-coupled signal amplifier designed for high frequency, low distortion waveform amplification. Designed as a “snap-on” accessory for the Tabor WaveXciter Models WS8351/2, the A10150 wideband signal amplifier can also be used as a standalone amplifier for any signal source, the company said.
With an output current internally limited to 250mA, the A10150 is fully protected against ground shorting. Target applications include Ethernet testing and the characterization and verification of ASICs, FPGAs and DACs. The A10150 HF amplifier’s standard configuration enables a maximum output voltage of 16Vp-p into 50 ohms with a gain of x5. An alternate version with x10 fixed gain and maximum voltage of 20Vp-p into 50 ohms is also available. A factory-supplied power supply that accepts voltage from 100 to 240VAC is included.
