TDK Lambda Americas Corp. has added the Z+800 to its Z+ series of programmable DC power supplies. The Z+800W is ideally suited for test and measurement, semiconductor burn-in, component test, laser diode, RF amplifiers and electromagnetic applications.
According to the company, “models in the 800W Z+ series feature output voltages up to 100Vdc and output currents up to 72A” and “can operate in either constant current or constant voltage modes and accept a universal (85-265Vac) input.” Up to six units can be connected in parallel to achieve higher power systems, while up to two units may be connected in series to increase the output voltage or to provide a bipolar output.
All models can either be programmed using the front control panel or remotely using USB, RS232/485 or analogue interfaces, which are included as standard.
The Z+800 is “CE-marked in accordance with the Low Voltage Directive [and] conforms to EN55022-B, FCC part-15-B and VCCI-B for conducted and radiated EMI. Safety approvals include UL/EN/IEC61010-1, and the Z+800 is designed to meet UL/EN60950-1.”
