Japanese electronics company TDK Corp. has released new B3267P series EPCOS MKP film capacitors for applications including passive PFC circuits and output filtering for ballasts, LED power supplies and switch-mode power supplies.
According to the company, the new series of capacitors “are designed for rated voltages of 450 V DC, 520 V DC and 630 V DC and cover a capacitance range from 68 nF to 2.2 µF.” The B3267P series features a significantly reduced volume in comparison to similar components and is “suitable for a continuous operating temperature of 125°.” The plastic casing satisfies UL 94 V-0 specification, and halogen-free versions are available upon request.
