Teseq Inc., a developer of EMC instrumentation and systems for a variety of industries, has released a new coupling/decoupling network (CDN) for surge testing on unshielded symmetrical high speed telecommunication lines. According the company, the CDN HSS-2 is ideal for use in laboratories and is compatible with all industry standard surge generators.
The new CDN features a maximum surge test voltage of 2 kV, a maximum peak surge test current of up to 50 A and a maximum residual voltage at the auxiliary equipment (AE) of 65 V, according to the company. The device is in accordance with IEC 61000-4-5/Ed.3/77B/674A/CD:2012-05.
