Bandpass Interference Filters for Life Science Instrumentation

Optical components supplier Edmund Optics has released new Techspec hard-coated 25nm bandpass interference filters for use in machine vision and life science applications.

According to Edmund Optics, the new bandpass interference filters are ideal for “[eliminating] unwanted background noise while simultaneously enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio in imaging or machine vision applications.”

The Techspec bandpass interference filters are available with center wavelengths from 400nm to 950nm and diameters of 12.5mm, 25mm or 50mm. The filters meet MIL-STD-810F and MIL-C-48497 standards.
