TVS product manufacturer ProTek Devices has released the P0201V05 and P0402V05 ultra low capacitance electrostatic discharge (ESD) components designed for ESD circuit protection of high speed data interfaces in electronics applications. According to the company, the ESD components are ideal for HDMI, MDDI, Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0.
Available in a molded ceramic 0201 package, the P0201V05 ESD component is compatible with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD): Air 15kV (Typical), 25kV (Max) and with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD): Contact 8kV (Typical), 15kV (Max). The ESD component protects one bidirectional line and features a low leakage current of 0.10 micro amps.
The P0402V05 ESD component is available in a molded ceramic 0402 package and is compatible with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD): Air 15kV (Typical), 25kV (Max) and with IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD): Contact 8kV (Typical), 15kV (Max).
