GigOptix Inc, a supplier of semiconductor and optical components for high-speed information streaming, has released a series of GaAs pHEMT MMIC power amplifiers for use in covering the 71GHz to 76GHz and 81GHz to 86GHz frequencies of high capacity E-Band radios.
The EXP7602 provides gain of 16dB across the 71GHz to 76 GHz band and delivers a P1db above 23dBm with saturated output power about 25dbm. The EXP7603 provides gain of 20dB across the 71GHz to 76 GHz band and delivers a P1dB above 25dBm with saturated output power above 26dBm. The EXO8602 provides gain of 18dB across the 81GHz to 86 GHz band and delivers a P1dB above 20dBm with saturated output power above 23dBm. All three amplifiers are equipped with on chip temperature compensated output power detectors.
