Tekronix, a developer and global distributor of test, measurement and monitoring technology, has released the SPECMON Spectrum Analyzer, which uses swept DPX digital phosphor technology to automatically scan a range of frequencies in real-time to find transient interferers.
The SPECMON spectrum analyzer is capable of scanning a 3.0 to 6.2 GHz frequency range, offers a real-time bandwidth of up to 110 MHz and can capture events as short as 3.7 µs with 100% probability of intercept. The instrument also provides built-in mapping, an interferer locator, signal demodulation and automated field measurements including pulse, field strength, channel power and adjacent channel power radio (ACPR) and occupied bandwidth (OBW).
