Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG has joined the Wireless Power Consortium and released a series of wireless power chokes.
The wireless power charging coil series WE-WPC includes two different components in sizes 3737 and 5555. Both are Qi compliant and evaluated and released by several IC manufacturers. The series’ characteristics are low DCR, litzwire and highest Q value on the market.
The Wireless Power Consortium comprises manufacturers of components, mobile user devices and network operators that work on solutions and standards. Würth Elektronik is undertaking the development of special transformers and storage chokes that will be used on the primary and secondary sides.
